In many countries today, crime novels and TV crime dramas are becoming more and more popular. Why do you think these books and TV shows are popular?What are your opinion of crime fiction and TV crime dramas?
In this day and age, the course of sensationalist coverage of violence by television or novels is gaining favor. The audience developed a keen interest in watching such TV shows and reading fiction loaded with criminal conspiracies. This essay discusses the terms crime dramas and books besides the reasons for the popularity among society.
Crime-based content in books and television programs is becoming increasingly popular due to some valid reasons. Firstly, the mysterious presentation of crime stories forces the public to watch continuously without blinking of eyes. Therefore, watch and read such content for a prolonged time. Secondly, criminals in the real world follow the same modes of Operandi while committing a crime so, this type of fiction and television serials aware the audience to a large extent. As a result, these modes bring awareness among the public for their security from criminals. For instance, a famous Indian show, Savdhan India, helps the spectators to examine criminal psychology.
It is said that people should be encouraged to get married before they are 30, as this is best both for the individual and for society. Do you agree or disagree?
However, the truth of telecasting criminal series is that it can further spread violence in society as offenders may follow the methods shown in those serials and fiction. Moreover, such stories can create fear in people especially, among children and elders, that causes severe mental disturbances. It can lead to the issue that frightened people start living with increased insecurities. Most importantly, the addiction to watching or reading crime reports can harm the study and career of youngsters.
To conclude, both crime dramas on TV and crime novels have spread positivity besides negativity. Where crime fiction is aware people, it also spread fear. But, the main benefit of watching crime actions is that people learn tricks to tackle any booby trap.
