Some people argue capital punishment is a brutal decision and should be abolished. Do you agree or disagree?
The death penalty is a term for a party to a criminal conspiracy to commit a capital offense. It has become a matter of active controversy in various countries and states. Many people assume it as a cruel decision and appeal to abolish them. I do not stand with this proportion. In my opinion, some ventures should not be forgiven and repeated in society, such as murder and gang rapes.
People are practicing some stringent laws to make the decorum of civilization, and if an individual performs some action against the law, they get punished, to be specific crimes like rape, spreading terror, murder, and so on. Apart from this, it is vital to change psychology in society. It makes them believe that it is not easy to act any heinous misdeeds. Recently an article named the time reveals around sixty percent of the crime rate has been reduced by the fear of these capital verdicts around the globe. The accused feel shameful and become a social stigma on civilization. For example, in 2012, in the Damini rape case in New Delhi, three men who were found guilty of rape and murder were sentenced to death. It arouses fear among offenders.
Some people say that older people should live with their adult children, while others think they should live in homes specially built for old people. Which do you think is a better practice?
However, in many cases, there might inevitably be chances of wrong decisions because justice is marked only based on pieces of evidence. Sometimes, it is hard to prove the unfolding truth. Moreover, Some people win in the belief that every man gets the fruits of his bad deeds automatically. So, if there is a law to take someone’s life, then it will be against the law of nature. A survey by Oxford University revealed that around seventy five percent proportion of the world thinks that these punishments are worthless nowadays. Consequently, some revolutionized alternate would be required to lower the crippled mentality in society.
To conclude, although a death sentence might be against the law of nature, it is the only way to punish a person against the heinous action done by them. In my opinion, it is crucial to maintain decorum and peace in our society.
