People can use a mobile phone to answer work and home calls at any place, or 7 days a week. Do you think there are more negative or positive effects on both individuals and society?
Mobile phone calls have become an integral part of everyday business processes and family matters these days. While they offer substantial advantages for individuals and society, in my opinion, it also comes front with some challenges.
In terms of Work or business, cellphone communication can boost productivity, mobility, safety, and morale in the workforce. This phenomenon has become one of the most efficient go-to options for businesses due to its convenience, speedy responses, and versatility. For companies, mobility has been trending with employees’ increased use of smartphones, tablets, and other technology for dealing with, accessing, and managing work-related operations and files. Moreover, the latest innovations in mobile conversation modes and services have emerged to address the needs of workers at the workplace. As a result, mobile technology has boomed significantly, and statistics now show that it significantly improves productivity.
In family matters, verbal communication by cellphone is an important skill. But without some practice, children might not know how to talk outside of a screen in troubled times. Mobile phone talks make it easy to locate family members outside the home or their arrival time. A family phone is an efficient way for the whole family to stay in touch. Especially in the case of children safety, it has its big hand. Mothers can know about the goings of their kids on tuition or if they are on the way and alert them from the risks from time to time.
Nowadays, more and more people are having consumer goods like refrigerators and washing machines. Does this development bring more advantages than disadvantages?
On the other hand, always-on personal and work-related communication calls can disturb employee workflow. In many cases, job holders have to receive calls outside their working hours that disturb family settings. Social media fuses technology with social interaction via Internet-based applications that allow the creation and exchange of user-generated information at every moment. Frequent calls, massages break the relationship, give mental stress, quarrels, harsh behavior among the family or friends sometimes lead to suicide cases. As per recent studies, more than 30,000 suicide deaths in the United States and nearly 1 million suicide deaths worldwide occur every year due to mobile conversations.
In conclusion, phone calls can be answered regardless of time and places with cell phones have both advantages and disadvantages. Taking those factors into consideration, I believe that it has more benefits than drawbacks.
